Great takeout in Coral Springs. The food is great and prepared fresh. The chef/owner worked in NYC Chinatown for many years and bring NY Style Chinese to Coral Springs.

In an area where places close at 10pm ON WEEKENDS, I was fortunate to happen across China Gourmet tonight. The sign on the door said they'd closed at 11pm, but they pulled me in and took my order anyway, with most unexpected friendliness and courtesy. While I waited for my General Tso's Chicken (next paragraph), I was treated to some light-hearted and engaging chit-chat with some of the staff. This NEVER happened in Chicago! I got back to my place, anxious to experience my new discovery. The General Tso's Chicken is whole dark meat, not processed. It's so tender that I forget that it's chicken. (I changed from past-tense to present-tense because I'm eating as I post this.) The sauce is not like most that you might expect as it seems to have a Teriyaki vibe to it, but that works! The broccoli is steamed just right and FRESSSSSSSSSH! The ginormous, fresh egg roll could serve as a light meal itself. The prices? daaaa-da-da-da, da-da, da-da.... can't touch them! The size of my single dinner order is far too generous for what I paid. It is easily 2.5 meals WITHOUT the egg roll, so I know what I'm having for breakfast and lunch tomorrow! I see they have Udon on the menu, so I'll make sure to check that out soon. :-)

Not really a big fan of Americanized chinese food, but every now and then I do crave for some sesame chicken. This place is awesome. The workers and the owner here are so friendly and the food comes out super quick!

Their Chinese food is awesome. I've never dined in but I order from them at least 1 a week for delivery. I've tried almost everything on their menu and I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend any of their Szechuan dishes if you love spicy. their House soup is perfect when you want a light dinner or you are fighting a cold. I love Chinese food and I feel lucky having a quality Chinese place so close by.
